By accessing this website and placing an order with Lou Handicrafts, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all transactions, services, and communications conducted through our website and override any conflicting conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
• All personal and order-related information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date
• You fully understand the handmade nature, characteristics, and natural variations of the products offered
• You are legally authorized to enter into a commercial agreement and commit to the terms listed herein

All operations under the brand "Lou Handicrafts" are conducted by Esmaeillou Trading LLC, a UAE-licensed company legally authorized to produce and sell handcrafted tile and ceramic goods.

• The minimum order quantity is 20 square meters.
• The standard production time is estimated between 4 to 6 working weeks after full payment confirmation.
• All products are made to order and entirely handmade, which means each item is unique and may vary slightly in color, texture, glaze, and size.
• As these are custom products, orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has started.
• Prices shown on the website exclude shipping, taxes, customs duties, or storage fees, unless explicitly stated.

• After production is completed, orders can be stored at our warehouse in Dubai for up to 14 working days free of charge.
• After this period, a daily storage fee of AED 30 per pallet or AED 15 per square meter will be applied.
• The storage period begins from the date the customer is notified that the order is ready.
• If the customer fails to arrange pickup or delivery within 30 calendar days from the storage start date, Lou Handicrafts reserves the right to cancel the storage and dispose of the goods without refund.
• Extended storage may be available upon written request and is subject to approval and additional fees.

• After production is completed, orders can be stored at our warehouse in Dubai for up to 14 working days free of charge.

• Lou Handicrafts does not take any responsibility for shipping, transport, delivery delays, damage, customs issues, or loss once the goods have left our warehouse.
• Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer at the time of departure from our premises. The customer becomes fully responsible for all risks associated with transportation from that point forward.
• Customers may:
o Arrange their own shipping with the logistics company of their choice
o Or request us to connect them with a third-party logistics provider (quotation will be based on destination, weight, and delivery type)
❗In either case, Lou Handicrafts is not a party to the transport contract and holds no liability for any outcome related to delivery or freight.
• Delivery is curbside only (no unpacking, site transfer, or installation is included).
• If the destination has specific access limitations (gated communities, ferry routes, narrow roads, etc.), the customer must notify us in advance—extra delivery charges may apply.

• All products offered by Lou Handicrafts are individually handcrafted. The production process involves manual shaping, drying, glazing, and multi-stage kiln-firing, and is subject to natural irregularities in tone, size, shape, surface texture, and thickness (within an acceptable tolerance of ±1mm).
• These variations are inherent to the artisanal nature of the products and shall not be deemed as defects or grounds for return, cancellation, or refund. Such variations include, but are not limited to, differences in color shade, glaze saturation, edge shape, or minor surface irregularities.
• The Client acknowledges that no two tiles are identical and that perfect uniformity across batches is neither intended nor guaranteed. This unpredictability is a defining quality of handmade ceramics and is accepted as part of the purchase.
• Lou Handicrafts products are not classified under industrial standards such as CE, ISO, or DIN, and shall not be assessed or held to such criteria.
• Samples may be provided upon request solely as a general representation of color, glaze, and finish. Due to the handmade nature of our products, the Company does not guarantee exact replication between samples and final orders.
• For installation purposes, the Client is advised to purchase an additional quantity of 10–15% to accommodate breakage, trimming, and aesthetic selection. The Company shall not be held responsible for shortages arising due to underestimation or post-delivery adjustments.
• The Company assumes no liability for product behavior resulting from improper handling, poor installation, unsuitable adhesives or sealants, or external environmental conditions such as excessive moisture, exposure to chemicals, or temperature fluctuations.

• All sales are final. No cancellation, refund, or return is accepted once an order is placed, regardless of production status. All Lou Handicrafts products are handcrafted to order and are made specifically based on the client's request. Therefore, deviations from this policy are not permitted under any circumstances.
• Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their order specifications (product type, quantity, finish, color, etc.) are accurate and final prior to confirming the order. Lou Handicrafts shall not be liable for any changes in customer requirements after the order is confirmed.
• Returns are not accepted under any condition, including perceived irregularities in color, tone, size, or texture — as these are natural characteristics of handmade tiles and part of their unique charm

• Lou Handicrafts provides general recommendations for the proper use, installation, and maintenance of its handmade tiles. However, we are not responsible for any damages, defects, or improper results arising from incorrect installation, unsuitable substrate, incompatible adhesives, cleaning agents, or environmental conditions.
• It is the sole responsibility of the customer to consult qualified professionals (architects, structural engineers, or tile installers) to determine whether the product is suitable for their specific use case.
• Lou Handicrafts does not provide on-site installation, supervision, or technical inspection services. Once the product has been delivered, the customer assumes full responsibility for its handling and correct installation.
• No claims will be accepted after the tiles have been installed, regardless of visible or hidden imperfections. Installation implies full acceptance of the product as-is.

• All content, images, designs, logos, patterns, and text on the Lou Handicrafts website and product materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Esmaeillou Trading LLC and may not be reproduced, used, or distributed without prior written consent.
• Customers agree not to copy, replicate, or commercially exploit any part of our website or product designs without written authorization.
• Lou Handicrafts is committed to protecting customer privacy. Personal information provided by the customer (such as name, address, email, or phone number) will only be used for order processing, customer communication, and legal record-keeping purposes.
• Lou Handicrafts does not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties, except when required by law or for order fulfillment through verified service providers.
• Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting: info@louhandicrafts.com.

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, UAE.
• In case of any contradiction between translated versions of this agreement, the English version shall prevail.
